The survey, which takes 10-15 minutes to complete, includes 27 questions on users expectations for specific resources, services, and environment; demographic questions, questions about respondents' use of Steen Library, and a box for comments.

General Databases

Academic Search Complete (Ebsco) is a multidisciplinary index giving access to articles in over 8000 journals with many available in full text.

Expanded Academic ASAP (Gale Cengage Learning) is a general database with indexing for journal, magazine and newspaper articles, with many of the articles available full text.

Google Scholar provides a search of scholarly literature across many disciplines and sources, including theses, books, abstracts and articles.

Wilson Select Plus (FirstSearch) is a general database that contains full text articles from popular and scholarly journals and magazines.

Academic OneFile (Gale Cengage Learning) provides access to newspapers as well as refereed, scholarly journal articles from 1980 to the present.

Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Business and Education The Directory assists you in selecting those journals that are most likely to publish your manuscript. The index in each Directory helps you match the characteristics of your manuscript to the topic areas the journal emphasizes, the type of review process, acceptance rate and number of internal and external reviewers.

Communications & Mass Media Collection provides current and accurate articles on all aspects of the communication field.

Communication & Mass Media Complete (Ebsco) covers key journals, recent encyclopedias, and handbooks in the area of communications studies and mass media.

LexisNexis Academic provides access to a wide range of news, business, legal, and reference information.

General Businessfile ASAP (Gale Cengage Learning) lists articles in business journals and magazines with many available full text.

Newsbank (Access World News) is a full-text newspaper resource consisting of more than 1,800 regional, national, and international newspapers and newswire sources.

Times Digital Archive allows for searching and viewing the most cited newspaper in the world: The Times ( London), for the years 1785 to 1985.
