LibQUAL+ is a suite of services that can be used to assess and improve library services. The survey, which takes 10-15 minutes to complete, includes 27 questions on users expectations for specific resources, services, and environment; demographic questions, questions about respondents' use of Steen Library, and a box for comments.

General Databases

Academic Search Complete (Ebsco) is a multidisciplinary index giving access to articles in over 8000 journals with many available in full text.

Expanded Academic ASAP (Gale Cengage Learning) is a general database with indexing for journal, magazine and newspaper articles, with many of the articles available full text.

Google Scholar provides a search of scholarly literature across many disciplines and sources, including theses, books, abstracts and articles.

Wilson Select Plus (FirstSearch) is a general database that contains full text articles from popular and scholarly journals and magazines.

 

Subject Databases

Business and Industry (FirstSearch) indexes articles dealing with information on important facts, figures and key events dealing with companies, industries, products and markets--international in scope.

General Businessfile ASAP (Gale Cengage Learning) lists articles in business journals and magazines with many available full text.

Fashion Windows
Information on visual merchandising, designers, mannequins. Includes a visual merchandising dictionary, resume builder, and links to sites of retail industry vendors and national associations.

Museum of Costume
An exploration of fashion through time--includes a view of the Museum's vintage clothing collections from the 16th century to the present.

National Association of Visual Merchandisers
"Created to open channels of communication for people in the field." Includes a directory, job postings, vendor list, etc.
