LibQUAL+ is a suite of services that can be used to assess and improve library services. The survey, which takes 10-15 minutes to complete, includes 27 questions on users expectations for specific resources, services, and environment; demographic questions, questions about respondents' use of Steen Library, and a box for comments.

East Texas Research Center Mission


The primary purpose of the East Texas Research Center (ETRC) is to collect, preserve, maintain and make available archival materials that support the educational and research goals of Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) and the surrounding East Texas community.

Initiatives:

  1. Acquire, preserve and provide physical and virtual access to East Texas' unique cultural history.
  2. Manage the University's Records Management Program.
  3. Provide support for service learning and active learning opportunities to the university community.
  4. Increase awareness of ETRC services and programs through outreach efforts to students, faculty and the East Texas community.
  5. Provide research assistance and collection development services to SFA History Faculty.
