The Nacogdoches Genealogical Society was organized in 1975. It is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization with the purpose of sharing ideas and methods in family research. The Society collects information on Nacogdoches County and surrounding areas to compile and preserve. Membership is open to anyone sharing these interests.
