UPDATE:
Steen Library provides the Interlibrary Loan service cooperatively with institutions throughout the country. It is important for us to remain in good standing with these institutions as we exchange materials. In an effort to continue providing the highest level of service, beginning Sep 1, 2009, Steen Library will charge $1 per day, no exceptions, for all overdue Interlibrary Loan books. Please return or renew your ILL books before they are overdue and help us keep our lending agreements collegial.

Interlibrary Loan Services support research and course-related activity of SFA faculty, staff, and students by obtaining journal articles, short-term loans of books, and audiovisual materials which are not available here at Steen Library.

Document Delivery Services (DDS) is available to University faculty and currently enrolled distance education students. DDS provides article-length copies from journals, books and other texts held at Steen Library. Electronic delivery of articles, in most cases within 24 to 48 hours, is provided.

The library's Photocopy Service is a fee-based copier service for journal articles and book chapters that are part of the Steen Library collection or from patron's personal copies of books or journals.  The cost for this service is $.10 per page for journal articles and book chapters and $.25 per page copies from microform.  Patrons should bring the materials to be copied to the Circulation Desk and complete a Photocopy Request Form for each item that is to be copied. The standard turnaround time is between 24 and 48 hours, though most requests are prepared and ready to be picked up or delivered within 24 hours.

The delivery and payment options include:

Charges will be applied to the patron's library record or to the academic department's IDT account.
