Accessibility

Students with disabilities and special learning needs should contact the AARC or the library's ADA coordinator, M. E. McWilliams at 468-1439. Students with special needs are provided with, but not limited to:

• Retrieval of library materials
• Assistance with adaptive equipment
• Access to the library's catalog
• Alternative ways to access library resources

Students with disabilities are referred to the AARC by SFA's Office of Disability Services or the Texas Rehabilitation Commission.

Telephone Device for the Hearing Impaired (TDD)

The Library has a TDD which can be checked out for 2 hours.  It is available at the Circulation Desk; the phone number is 936-468-1531 and it can be used with the public phones located near the Circulation Desk.

 

Computers/Technology

An adaptive workstation with a screen magnifier, speech synthesizer and Braille printer is available in the LINC.
