If students with disabilities and special learning needs need assistance, they should contact the library's ADA coordinator, M. E. McWilliams at 468-1439. Students with special needs are provided with alternate means of accessing library resources, including:
The Library has a TDD phone which can be checked out for two hours from the Access Services Desk. It can be used with the public phones located near the Access Services Desk.
The LINC offers an adaptive workstation with a screen magnifier, speech synthesizer, Braille printer, and print magnifier. A tech is available to demonstrate and assist with the use of these adaptive resources. See the LINC Help Desk for an appointment with a tech for the disabled.
The AARC will provide an early tutor sign up period for students who receive referrals from the Office of Disability Services. The Office of Student Disability Services expedites referrals to AARC.
